Allegheny East Conference
Established in 1945 to meet the growing needs of members in the historically African-American congregations of the Mid-Atlantic United States, leaders and pastors in the Allegheny East Conference of Seventh-day Adventists oversee congregations and schools in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Formed in 1967 when the original Allegheny Conference was divided into two parts, east and west, Allegheny West Conference has 66 congregations, with more than 17,000 members, led by 40 pastors in Ohio, West Virginia, western Virginia, and the northwest corner of Pennsylvania.

The Chesapeake Conference has over 16,580 members in 97 congregations (70 churches, 11 companies and 16 groups) and 10 schools in Delaware, Maryland, and on the edges of Virginia and West Virginia.
